The statewide "Ekatma Yatra - A Journey of Oneness" lovingly gathered metal and soil from over 23,000 villages across Madhya Pradesh. Forged to build the Statue, these humble offerings embody the unifying Oneness Adi Shankaracharya propagated.

Breathed into life by renowned artist Vasudeo Kamath, the visionary conceptual sketch & painting captured a 12-year-old Shankara’s sacred transformation into Shankaracharya at Omkareshwar - a moment now immortalized in the form of the statue. He was later awarded Padma Shri by the Govt. of India.

Renowned sculptor Bhagawan Rampure brought this sacred sketch to life, meticulously transforming the 2D image into a powerful, deeply moving 3D statue model.

School of Art in Mumbai, Rampure has won numerous accolades, notably the ‘Abhang Kalakar Puraskar’ at the Maharashtra State Art Exhibition, the Gaurav Puraskar from the Shree Siddhi Vinayak Mandir Trust in Mumbai, and the Art Society of India award.
