Having successfully revived Advaita Vedanta, united diverse spiritual traditions, and established a framework for the future of India's philosophical heritage, Shankara completed his mission. At the young age of 32, surrounded by his closest disciples, he walked into the snow-clad peaks behind the Kedarnath temple and merged his physical consciousness directly into the supreme Brahman.
